Cillian Murphy just dumped Robert Downey Jr.
Or at least that's what fans thought when the Ironman star shared the joy of winning Best Supporting Actress at the 2024 Critics Choice Awards with Murphy in an unexpected way — she went for it.
The clip of the hilarious moment showed Downey Jr. scowling at his co-star Oppenheimer, who looked visibly upset for a moment.
However, the Peaky Blinders star played it cool, putting up both cheeks instead.
Viewers were hysterical, claiming that Downey Jr. really wanted to kiss, but Murphy stylishly turned him down.

Someone else joked: "RDJ RISKED EVERYTHING TO KISS KILLIAN", while a third replied: "KILLIAN WAS SO MISSED HERE LET'S WAIT WHAT ARE WE DOING."
One even teased him: "RDJ wants to leave kiss marks all over Cillian's face," perhaps referring to Cillian's wife leaving a lipstick mark on her nose at last week's Golden Globes before going on stage to collect the best actor award for Oppenheimer.
