Sean 'Diddy' Combs will not attend the 66th annual Grammy Awards despite his nomination.
Diddy's agent spilled to The Hollywood Reporter on Friday that the musician will not attend the awards ceremony following his allegations of sexual harassment against multiple women in late 2023.
Diddy's The Love Album: Off the Grid is reportedly nominated for Best Progressive R&B Album at the event, which takes place on February 4th.
"We take this matter very seriously and are in the process of reviewing it with the time and attention it deserves," the Recording School said in a statement to Rolling Stone in December 2023.
For those unaware, Diddy's ex-girlfriend Cassie reportedly filed a lawsuit against the musician in November 2023 for rape and physical abuse during their 10-year relationship in the 2000s . . . .
Earlier, Diddy's lawyer spoke to US Weekly, saying, "Just so we're clear, the decision to settle the case, especially in 2023, is in no way an admission of wrongdoing. The Lord's decision." Combs' settlement of the case in no way undermines his adamant denial of the claims. He is glad they have settled and wishes Ms. Ventura the best.
Interestingly, other women have also said the rapper assaulted them decades ago.
In the wake of the sexual misconduct allegations, Hulu reportedly ended a new reality show about Diddy and his family when he left his position as chairman of TV network Revolt.
