Tupac's alleged killer denied 'absurd' bail request as he is 'too dangerous': Report

Attorneys for Tupac’s accused killer, Duane “Keefe D” Davis, are delaying his request for “unreasonable” bail pending trial.

Last week, Davis’ attorneys filed a request with a Nevada judge for Davis to be released from jail on his own recognizance – without bond and a promise to appear in court – or bail set at a minimum of $100 k o before a trial is set for June.

But Davis’ attorneys vehemently object to the “unreasonable” request and make numerous arguments to the contrary, emphasizing the risks involved, according to new court documents obtained by TMZ.

In other testimony, prosecutors said Davis was once a high-ranking member of the South Side Compton Crips, and even threatened the credibility of witnesses in prison.

They also emphasized that Davis has confessed several times over the years to his involvement in Tupac's murder, and they continue to say they have plenty of evidence against him.

Thus, the state of Nevada requested that Tupac’s alleged killer be held pending trial.

Davis - who pleaded not guilty – was arrested on September 29, 2023 – 27 years after the murder of Tupac Shakur.
