Jennifer Love Hewitt recently shared her life as a mother to children over the past 12 months.
When he took to Instagram on Dec. 31, Hewitt posted a makeup-free selfie with a heartfelt statement.
The If Only actress said, "This year I (sic) went through a lot of stuff that no one else knows about."
“And I appreciate that privacy. I had the best time being a stay-at-home mom with my kids,” the 44-year-old wrote.
Hewitt, who shares her three children with husband Brian Hallisey, revealed that she "learned to be a good baker and realized it was okay to take time for myself mentally, physically and emotionally."
The Trojan War actor said he "prayed a lot, belly laughed more than ever, and had the longest winter of my life."
“He was forced to be more confident than usual. I learned to love work as a benefit to my mental health. Got opportunities for me and my big dreams,” he continued.
“I sat in more shock and could have given up more of it,” Hewitt insisted. I felt my mother around us and saw signs that she was there.
The Heartbreakers actress "said goodbye to things in my life that don't serve positivity and made room for a lot of good things in 2024."
“I celebrated my 10th birthday with my boyfriend. I have tattoos. And I was allowed to learn everything I really needed to learn,” he remarked.
“And that’s why I’m here,” Hewitt explained. Full of joy, grace, gratitude and hope. I pray that our world will be healed this year and that everyone will see less pain, fear and suffering. Love to all and Happy New Year!
