Kevin Hart dishes out details about 'Hollywood action stars' chat group

Kevin Hart recently opened up about a group of movie chats with celebrities including Dwayne Johnson and Tom Cruise.

Speaking to PEOPLE at the premiere of his Netflix film Elevator at Lincoln Center in New York, the Ride Along actor revealed, “Dwayne, Mark Wahlberg, Tom Cruise, Harrison Ford, Jet Li, Jackie Chan. All the big guys. You know, we're just talking about action."

“This is a really secret chat, I don't want to talk about this chat with you. "I can get a lot of trouble from other players," the 44-year-old said.

Hart explained, “We're just sharing action stories, the thing is, if you're going to be an action story, you have to have an action story, so our chat is about ping-ponging action stories and keeping everyone in sync. know? That's about it."

Elsewhere in the interview, the Fast and Furious actor noted, "I think the cast stayed true to the consistent dialogue."

“The days on the sets ended with us having dinner together at the hotel. Whether it was all together or multiple times on different days, there was an amazing amount of connection that added a lot of value to what we got here,” Hart added.

Meanwhile, Lyft is set to hit Netflix on January 12.
