Iron Claw is an unforgettable story about the Von Erich family. But director Sean Durkin intended to include a moment of temporary distraction from his family's many worries. There was also a wedding scene with Zachary Efron playing Kevin Von Erich.
Speaking about this happy moment, the filmmaker told Today.com: "I really wanted a happy wedding, and I wanted it to be free and pure."
he continued. "And then there's something going on beneath the surface with David [in the sequel], and I just wanted to have this very pure moment before everything falls apart."
The director decided to include a celebratory moment in which the wrestling family witnesses some of their relatives on their deathbeds.
"Line dancing seemed like a fun thing (to include)," she shared.
"It wasn't because of anything real, it was just a little dance as brothers at a wedding. I thought it was really real and funny, and it was a lot of fun."
Sean said: “So, despite all the tragedies, the family continues to live on for those who knew them and were their fans.”
